Stephanie and Devin’s Spring Wedding Day at the HarMac

Starting the Day Off Right

Stephanie and Devin met at Reds Alehouse in North Liberty, which is one of Emily’s favorite restaurants, so it was only natural that Soirée was able to support their wedding plans. The couple works in the hospitality industry and has been together for 9 years, so they had a clear vision for their wedding weekend. They really just wanted to spend time with their people and enjoy every part of the celebration together.

The Wedding Day

Stephanie and Devin got married at The Harmac in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and their whole day just felt warm, relaxed, and so “them”. They used different shades of green throughout the wedding details, which tied everything together perfectly for their March day. They also included their dog, Dan, in the wedding, which made everything feel even more personal and special. The photography scheduled started with a rooftop first look + private vows, which was such a sweet and emotional moment before everything officially got started. Stephanie and her closest friends took tequila shots and had a dance party just before the ceremony, which honestly set the celebratory tone for the rest of the day!

Stephanie and Devin weren’t into flowers (there were hardly any!), but that didn’t stop Emily and the Unique Events team from making a gorgeous space & experience. for their guests! Upgraded linens and pretty touches make a huge difference. From the candlelight to the lamps on the tables, every part of the reception space felt cozy and inviting. Guests were hanging out, talking for hours, grabbing drinks, and fully enjoying the night together. It was one of those weddings where everyone was just really present and having a good time. No one wanted the party to end!

Working With Soirée

Stephanie and Devin used Soirée’s Assistant Package, which supported them throughout the planning process with vendor communication, timeline creation, rehearsal coordination, vendor referrals, and an additional assistant on the wedding day.
