Trivia Night Fail turned out to be a Win!

Shikha and Tyler met the old-fashioned way… online dating, of course! After many weeks of trying to meet, they finally found a random Tuesday Night at a whiskey bar with trivia games. After coming in dead last, Shikha and Tyler decided to go on a second date the following week to redeem themselves. Naturally, they aced the trivia questions and earned 1st Place! Since he is an engineer and she is a doctor, we aren’t surprised by their success! And best of all, they started seriously dating after that.

Tyler, Shikha, and Shikha’s close friend Geetha went on a hike in their favorite park in Boulder, Colorado. When they reached the viewpoint, Geetha offered to step back and take pictures of Shikha and Tyler. Overlooking a beautiful view of all of Boulder, the Denver skyline, and the rocky mountains, Tyler got down on one knee and proposed. It was a huge surprise, and Shikha, of course, said yes!

The Wedding Weekend

Planning a fusion Indian/American wedding in Muscatine, Iowa; while living in Denver with demanding careers, the couple knew they needed all the help with wedding planning. Finding, organizing, communicating with vendors, ensuring guests are well informed with all weekend plans, PLUS designing and planning at Sangeet Welcome Night, a Hindu/American fused ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Shikha and Tyler realized they needed Soirée. During their consultation with Emily, they agreed The Everything Package would be the best for a busy wedding weekend.

With 2.5 hours and the help of many vendors and the Soirée team, we successfully flipped The Mississippi Grand Ballroom from its beautiful wedding ceremony space to its reception space. A massive success for everyone involved. Shikha had a total of three beautiful outfit changes.
