Shelby & Tyler met while in college. They both happened to be at a friend’s apartment where Tyler was watching football and Shelby thought he was cute. She asked to try on his shoes to get his attention. The next week they went on their first date, and the rest is history!

A Dream Wedding Come To Life

We first met, Robin, Shelby’s mother years ago while assisting her with a corporate work event. When Shelby became engaged and reached out to us, Emily had already known her amazing family for awhile. With full confidence in us, Robin, Shelby, and Tyler chose The Everything package and we helped bring their vision of the wedding of their dreams to life. They trusted all of our suggestions from the beginning, which made for such a wonderful experience for the couple because they were able to have fun and enjoy the journey. Their wedding was incredible, and it was an honor to plan & design the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and the morning after brunch!

Being Good Sports

The wedding was originally planned during Iowa Hawkeye football’s bye-week, but due to COVID the Hawkeye’s scheduling changed and the wedding ended up being on homecoming weekend. It shows that you can’t always plan for everything, but you can still pivot and have everything turn out amazing. 2 years of planning, 6 rental & decor companies, 3 caterers, and numerous other amazing members of the wedding team came together to help create an absolutely stunning weekend.

Tyler and Shelby really are a dream couple. Their love of their family and how much Tyler and Shelby are in love was a joy to witness. Thank you and congratulations to Tyler & Shelby from all of us at Soirée!
