Plenty of Fish in the Sea, but I Only Want You

Sarah and Michael met like many other couples meet nowadays, online. After talking for a few days, Sarah accepted their first date with Michael at Noodles & Company in 2017. Michael was the first guy Sarah went on a date with through the app and got comfortable meeting! After an almost 3-hour date at the restaurant, they decided they weren’t ready to part ways. They ended up going to a nearby park and took a walk around the trail. After the hike, they found a comfy picnic table where Michael showed Sarah some of his magic tricks.

Sarah designed her engagement ring so she knew it was coming soon. Michael was too nervous to think of a way to propose because he didn’t want to disappoint Sarah. She gave him an idea to recreate their first date at Thomas Park. Unfortunately, Sarah’s food was wrong, and it ended up raining on them, but she didn’t care; she was happy to be back at the place where their story began and a place they could always come back to.

A Day to Remember

Sarah and Michael visited one wedding venue before hiring Emily, and it wasn’t what they envisioned for their wedding. During their free consultation with Emily, Sarah expressed she needed a lot of help regarding wedding planning. Getting lost in the sea of google, finding a venue was overwhelming, and she felt like she couldn’t plan much else before that was completed. Sarah was also looking for guidance to help bring her ideas together. Sarah Michael got married on a beautiful Friday afternoon in October at The Midnight Gem, a new wedding venue in Swisher, Iowa. It truly was a day to remember, full of family and love! We are so thankful to be a part of their wedding day. We wish them nothing but love that feels like magic for the rest of their lives! 🤍
