A Rust and Navy Fall Wedding at Walker Homestead

How They Met

Sammi and Taylor first connected on Hinge while living in different states, and things moved naturally from there. Their first phone call lasted hours. Later, when they met in person, they both knew this was something real. Everything felt steady from the start, and their early connection continued to grow as they spent more time together.

Working With Soirée

With both of them working 60–80 hours a week, Sammi and Taylor knew they needed someone who could handle the planning, design, and day-of details. They chose our Experience Package, which allowed us to walk with them through the full process and help bring their vision to life.

The Wedding Day

This wedding ended up being such a great example of what a fall celebration can look like. Emily said it was a BLAST to design. Their stationery, in a gorgeous terracotta rust and navy with florals, was one of our favorite details. It carried through the entire day, not just the invitations. She also chose fall flowers, textured linens, and small details that tied everything together effortlessly. Their guest book was a deck of custom playing cards with their photos, where guests signed little notes — a fun idea they’ll actually use and look back on. And instead of a traditional cake, they ended the night with a cookie skillet, which we loved. Overall, it was a wonderful day, and we’re wishing them all the best as they step into this new chapter.
