A Perfect Summer Wedding Weekend

Samantha and Michael’s wedding at Wilson’s Ciderhouse in Iowa City was such a special celebration! We had so much fun helping this sweet couple plan their day, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. They chose a light blue theme throughout the weekend, which paired perfectly with the beautiful summer setting.

Their wedding festivities started the night before with a welcome party at Big Grove Brewery. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together, kick off the celebrations, and set the tone for the weekend ahead.

Getting Ready & The First Look

Samantha started her wedding morning getting ready with all her girls. The bridesmaids wore the most gorgeous baby blue dresses that tied in perfectly with the overall color palette. After getting ready, Samantha and Michael shared a beautiful first look before heading into the rest of their special day.

A Beautiful Ceremony & A Fun Reception

The couple exchanged vows during a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Wilson’s Ciderhouse. Afterward, it was time to celebrate! One of our favorite details was their custom beer pong table, a fun nod to their relationship. Even better, the design matched their stationery perfectly. A special shoutout to Allegra for helping bring those details together!

Once the dance floor opened, the party continued all night. From the thoughtful personal touches to the packed dance floor, the reception was such a fun reflection of Samantha and Michael.

The celebrations continued into the next day with a brunch, giving everyone one last chance to spend time together before heading home. It was the perfect way to wrap up such a memorable weekend!

Samantha and Michael chose our Experience Package, our most hands-on planning package. This allowed Soirée to work closely with them throughout the planning process, helping bring their vision to life and coordinate the many details that made their wedding weekend so special.
