Samantha and Ben’s Wedding at Little Lights on the Lane in West Branch, Iowa

High School Friends turned Soulmates

Samantha and Ben met each other in high school. They were in the same friend group together but didn’t get super close until her senior year of college. After years of friendship, the two were together one day and Ben took the chance and kissed her! In the words of Samantha, “the rest is history!” From there, the two took a trip to Georgia to meet his family before they had really “defined the relationship.” While they were there, they took a trip to the beach, and when Samantha saw Ben draw a heart in the sand and write both of their names in it, she just knew that he was the one! She’s pretty sure he knew it too, but neither of them said anything. The next weekend, the “unofficial, kind of official couple” went to a concert together and Ben told Samantha he was falling in love with her! They made it really official that night and it was nothing but perfect!

Little Lights with a Lotta Love

Being held at the new Little Lights on the Lane in West Branch, their wedding day was simply stunning! Although the couple had originally planned to have their wedding outside under the covered porch, the unpredictable weather made things a little too chilly, so they decided to move their ceremony inside. The incredible windows in the venue made for a stunning backdrop as well as a black moon gate from Borrow My Vintage and a custom made neon sign that the couple had made! Samantha mentioned that she typically likes things really colorful and fun, but for her wedding day she had a vision of classic, simple, gorgeous black and white with greenery throughout. They even had a donut wall with donuts decorated to match the decor which was such a fun part of the day!

The Essentials

Samantha and Ben currently live in Nashville, Tennessee so finding someone that could help them iron out details as they got closer to their wedding date was important to them! They also were a super organized couple and had a lot of the big parts of their day figured out already. This made the Essentials Package the perfect fit! We were able to get things finalized with the couple and get everything communicated about their big day during the last 6 weeks leading up to the wedding in order to make sure the day would go smoothly! On the day of the wedding, we were able to work with the couple and their amazing team of vendors to make the day perfect for them! It was so great working with such an amazing couple and we wish them (and their pups) so much happiness! Congratulations Samantha and Ben!
