Rebecca & Zach’s Wedding at the DoubleTree in Cedar Rapids

Zach fell twice.

Rebecca & Zach met on the Cambus in Iowa City, IA. It was crowded, the bus lurched, and he accidentally fell on top of her. From there it was history, and falling in love was the easiest thing these two ever did.

These lovebirds’ wedding was seriously amazing. From the very start, these two wanted a lavish and elegant wedding to wow their guests. After booking with the DoubleTree in Cedar Rapids, we got started on creating a gorgeous design to fit her visions of her big day. Gold, blush, and ivory accented with all the sparkles we could find was the plan. Unique Events not only was the DJ, but also provided our decor including their custom bar, light up LED dance floor, champagne tree, GOBO monogram, linens, chairs, and centerpieces. Talk about gorgeous!!! Stationery from Zephyr Weddings perfectly matched the decor and the unbelievable cake from Tip Top did too! Everything was fit for a princess!

All of the wedding plans and decorations were beautiful, but not as beautiful as the love Rebecca & Zach share for each other. It’s clear that these two are meant for one another. They’re currently enjoying their lives as newly weds in California where she is going to school and Zach works. We already miss talking to them daily about their wedding!
