Quinn and Connor’s Wedding at Walker Homestead in Iowa City, IA
Gorgeous Wedding at Walker Homestead in Iowa City
How It All Began
Quinn and Connor met in Portland, OR, when he was interviewing for a job, and she was already interested in him. They connected quickly. Both work in the medical field, share many interests, and just clicked. Soon after, Connor planned a simple and sweet proposal. First, he sent Quinn roses at work. Then, he had friends take her out for some pampering. Finally, he led her to Kent Park, where he proposed under a custom arch he had built.
The Big Day
Quinn and Connor’s wedding at Walker Homestead was beautiful. Their color palette—beige, dusty mauves, sage, and white—flowed perfectly from the decor and flowers to the bridesmaids’ getting-ready PJs. The morning started with relaxed, quality time with the bridal parties, and the groomsmen even enjoyed some time by the pool. The day was full of thoughtful touches and plenty of love. Their photographer, a family member, captured every moment beautifully.
Soirée’s Role
Working with Quinn and Connor was a joy. They started with our Assistant Package but realized a few months before the wedding that they needed extra support and upgraded to the Experience Package. From planning to the big day itself, their trust and vision made our job easy and fun. We’re so happy for them and feel honored to have helped bring their wedding to life.
