Mazel Tov! Naomi & Derek’s Intimate Cedar Rapids Wedding
We’re in love with these photos by Brian Davis Photography from Naomi & Derek’s wedding last November in Cedar Rapids, IA. The bride and groom are some of the sweetest and most in-love couples we have ever worked with, and we couldn’t have been more excited to coordinate their perfect weekend.
It started on Friday evening at the Turner Alley Brewery where we rehearsed the ceremony and ate yummy Maggie’s Woodfire Pizza. The brewery even featured a beer brewed especially for the wedding. The families were so friendly, warm, and welcoming; we knew this was going to be a really special weekend.
The wedding day arrived and it was surprisingly great weather for November nuptials! It could have been cold and rainy; but instead it was sunny, warm, and simply lovely! The groom wore a stylish suit, and the bride was in one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. Her classic boho style is gorg, don’t you agree?
The afternoon’s ceremony started with a private signing of the ketubah with the happy couple, witnesses, and Rabbi Todd. The most beautiful chuppah was set up in the front of the venue space illuminated with beautiful lighting and adorned with decorative floral by The Garden Wren. A cocktail hour was held at the hotel immediately following the ceremony, and then everyone made their way over to Cobble Hill for dinner.
Cobble Hill knocked this wedding out of the park with their attention to detail, custom four-course menu, and the most amazing staff. They did everything they could to ensure the perfect evening for Naomi & Derek’s guests.
