Oh, How the Swipe Was Right

You can genuinely see the love and “meant to be” sign with Tony and Meredith. Going back to college, they knew one another from passing classes, yet never said anything. However, their memorable faces were in the back of each other’s minds. This was the key that led them to where they are today! After college, they had gone on their own paths: Meredith to Chicago and Tony to Fort Worth.

But, in the Summer of 2014, both moved back to Iowa and swiped right on each other! When Tony’s best man saw that Tony had candles lit in his house, the best man knew that Meredith was different from previous relationships. The love was natural and long-lasting. Their relationship beautifully progressed as they moved in with each other in 2017, bought a house and adopted a dog in 2018, and got engaged in 2019. Everyone would say the love was instantaneous, and the connection was real from the moment they saw each other on campus!

Covid Didn’t Stop The Love!

Despite the cancellation of their big wedding in May of 2020 because of the Covid pandemic, they didn’t let this stop them from being together; they united together in a small backyard ceremony followed by a car parade! Still dreaming about their big day celebrating their connection and commitment in front of their friends and family, they used Soiree to help postpone their beautiful day. With the help of Soiree, Meredith and Tony were able to successfully postpone their big day without hassle and have total reassurance that their new wedding date would run effortlessly.

Finally, in May 2021, the couple got to celebrate their 1st anniversary with a gorgeous wedding at Ashton Hill. Both the bride and groom had the great opportunity to redo their vows and get their second “first kiss.” The couple was a blast to work with, there was constant laughing, enjoyment, and the flower grandma’s really put on a show with the DJ mentioning “they took their jobs very seriously.” A time where a wedding seemed impossible due to regulations, these sweethearts made it possible to still bring the love all around with two weddings!
