The Wedding Day

Some wedding days just feel like a perfect reflection of the couple. Full of laughter, thoughtful details, and plenty of dancing. Macy & Luke’s celebration was exactly that. From the moment the day began in Iowa City to the sparkler exit at the end of the night, it was nonstop joy, heartfelt moments, and a whole lot of fun. The celebration began with a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Iowa City. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple exchanged vows in a space filled with warm light and timeless architecture. It was the perfect setting for such a meaningful occasion. From there, the party moved to the Hyatt Regency in Coralville for the reception. But first, the wedding party enjoyed a fun ride on their party bus.

All the Gorgeous Details

Every element displayed Macy’s great sense of style. The flowers were beautiful, the stationery was gorgeous, and even their dog appeared in some cute photos. Her bridesmaids’ stunning green satin gowns went well with the classy color scheme. Macy surprised guests with a second reception dress that was ideal for hitting the dance floor after wearing a classic gown for the ceremony. And with relation to the dance floor… It stayed full all night. Thanks to superb music, fun guests, and a few entertaining surprises, the energy never wavered.

The couple enjoyed pizza as a late-night snack toward the end of the evening, which came with a customized pizza box displaying their initials. People waited in line for the picture booth in between slices, making memories (and some funny photos) that they will remember for years to come.
