Lindsay & James’ Wedding at the IMU in Iowa City

With tons of personal touches infused with elegance, this wedding was divine. We really enjoyed getting to work with Lindsay, James, and her mom, Lisa, throughout the planning process. We love it when clients fully put their trust in our skills and they totally did. It was great working on customizing every element of this big day to share parts of the couple’s unique story. The beautiful decorations, the custom food stations, and the fun stationery all told the story of their heritage, how they met, and fell in love.

James and Lindsay met in early 2015 while playing weekly pub trivia in Iowa City while James was working in research and Lindsay was in her first year of residency. While they met through mutual friends, they soon started spending more time with each other. James asked Lindsay out through a convoluted stream of texts messages, and their first date was on the Fourth of July that summer. Currently, they are both residents at the University hospitals and will graduate in the summer of 2018.
