Jayme & Alex’s Wedding at Sister Hill in Manchester, Iowa

Making Changes

Jayme and Alex had originally planned a two-hundred person wedding in Cedar Falls. When COVID-19 hit, plans had to change. The wedding date was moved up and the guest list went down! And when we say the guest list went down, we mean down to less than 15 people, including the couple!

It was definitely a micro-wedding and it was incredibly intimate and gorgeous. Sister Hill Inn & Events, the most beautiful Victorian Style home you could imagine. The home is over 160 years old and the character and beauty truly speaks for itself! And when you add in lush amounts of flowers, an amazing couple, and their adoring families, it makes it a thousand times better.

The Big (but small) Day!

Other than a few anxious nerves to see each other, the morning was calm and relaxing. Jayme spent the morning getting all done up with her Maid of Honor. Alex and the rest of the family were able to get ready at their own pace. When it came time for the first looks with dad, brother and the couple themselves, a few tears were definitely shed! So sweet!

From there, the rest of the day flowed effortlessly! The photographer made taking all of the pictures so easy and fun. The ceremony was beautiful and personal, with tons of friends and extended family on a livestream.

The dinner was phenomenal, and the rest of their evening was full of so much fun and love. The couple were in perfect company for their entire wedding day. It was absolutely everything Jayme and Alex had ever dreamed of and we are thrilled to have been able to be there for them on such an incredible day!
