How It All Began

Hillary and Matt’s story began in a dodgeball league and eventually led to a sunset cruise proposal in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Over the years, they grew together and dreamed about their future. Then, in a moment, Matt popped the question with a sweet Ring Pop proposal.

Thoughtful Details

On their wedding day, Hillary and Matt brought that same intention into every detail. For example, their stunning stationery by Allegra Iowa City was inspired by the stained-glass window they stood in front of during their ceremony. In addition, the bridesmaids wore a beautiful turquoise hue that tied everything together seamlessly. One of our favorite moments happened later in the day when the couple played a game of dodgeball with their wedding party—a fun and meaningful nod to how their story first began.

Soirée’s Help

We have had the honor of planning Hillary’s older sister’s wedding, so when we heard from them, it was delightful to get to work with the family again! Hillary and Matt booked Soirée’s Assistant Package, which allowed us to be hands-on throughout the wedding planning process. We provided vendor recommendations, created and managed timelines, and ensured the entire wedding day ran smoothly from start to finish.
