Gloria & Hnubci’s Destination Wedding in Cancun, Mexico

The Proposal

Gloria and Hnubci’s story began after years of friendship, FaceTime calls, and frequent flights between Florida and Wisconsin. Eventually, Gloria made the leap and packed up and moved to Florida to start building a life with Hnubci. When it came time to propose, they both got dressed up after Hnubci informed Gloria that they were going to a Disney employee event, but instead of a work party, Gloria ended up standing in front of a bright “Marry Me” sign in downtown Orlando, surrounded by flowers.

Wedding by the Ocean

For their wedding day, the couple chose the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun. With gorgeous views of the ocean, it made a breathtaking setting for their celebration in Mexico. Bright tropical florals and bold pink bridesmaid dresses added even more color and life to the already vibrant atmosphere.

Although rain poured for most of the day, the energy never dipped. Guests were welcomed with personalized name keychains at each place setting. Signature cocktails named after the couple’s dogs, the “Nyko Mojito” and the “Sunny Sunrise,” added a fun, personal twist to cocktail hour. A photo booth with an LED sign reading “Happily Ever After” kept guests occupied all night, and the celebration ended with a sparkler exit that lit up the rainy evening in the best way.
