Could the bride’s Badgley Mischka shoes be more amazing? These are simply gorgeous, don’t you agree?
Instead of a traditional round bouquet, the bride chose to carry this circle wreath adorned with beautiful flowers, just one of the ways that this wedding was unique and modern.
The Veterans Memorial Coliseum is full of gorgeous stained glass windows, the perfect backdrop to fit this glamorous bride’s style. The natural lighting is stunning!
Rob & Jackie’s First Look was outside in downtown Cedar Rapids. The weather was perfect on their big day. They seem pretty smitten with one another, don’t you agree?
Atop the bride’s bouquets are the wedding bands. Beautiful!
The wedding ceremony program.
At the entrance to the ceremony space sat this small half round table where guests could leave notes to Jackie & Rob. The card box was a glass & gold geometric box that matched the wedding look perfectly.
The ceremony was laid out with the chairs in a half circle around the couple giving the space a more intimate vibe. No need for microphones here – the acoustics in this space were amazing.
The Coliseum was divided into two parts by use of this gold draping. The first part was for cocktail hour and here is a peak into the reception space.
Instead of the traditional head table, the wedding party sat at a harvest table. Navy linens, candelabras, and a fresh garland of greenery down the middle created a dramatic and luxe look.
The bride & bridesmaids hung their wreaths on the candelabras on the head table.
Potted succulent plants were arranged at every place setting and acted as wedding favors for all guests.
A group photo with all wedding guests was taken before dinner started. Smile!
This is the couple’s cake that they cut for photos. It was hand painted by a friend of the bride.
Delicious cupcakes from Take the Cake in Marion, IA.
Take the Cake also made a custom surprise groom’s cake in the shape of a pyramid.
These cute hair ties were in a basket in the ladies restroom as another favor for helping them “tie the knot”.
