Love at First Sight

Emma and Ross met each other for the first time when he walked into Pancheros over his lunch break. Emma was in the process of completing her training when Ross stepped in. He was a regular customer, but he had never seen her before. In the moment, the two just looked at each other and moved on. It wasn’t until two months later that they reconnected and were formally introduced by a friend. From there, the two began dating and it led to their happily ever after! Down the road, Emma and Ross were moving into their new home and he dropped to one knee. Among all of the excitement of a new home and a new engagement, Emma spent the weekend celebrating with her sister while Ross had help from “the guys” getting everything moved in.

A New Year’s Eve Transformation

The wedding day was taking place on New Year’s Eve in 2019. They wanted to celebrate being newlyweds and ring in the New Year at the same time. That’s the ultimate party! The couple knew they wanted their wedding to have a stunning “wow” factor but they didn’t want it to be just like every other wedding. They chose Sharpless Auction, a venue that was the right size but needed some help turning it into their vision. Picture this: an empty room, cement floors, some pitchforks here and there along the wall, and that’s pretty much it. Although it’s perfectly practical for holding an auction, it wasn’t quite what you imagine when you’re wanting to use the space for a stunning New Year’s Eve wedding. That’s where Soirée came in!

The Perfect Package

Emma and Ross had a wedding day vision that was big but definitely doable with the right team of vendors. That’s why we are so grateful they brought us in to make it happen! After learning about their wedding day dreams, we knew exactly which teams to bring in. With incredible rentals and decor from Unique Events and Borrow My Vintage, as well as gorgeous florals from Hy-Vee, the transformation was well underway. By the time the set up was complete, the room was practically unrecognizable. Honestly, it was one of the most impressive room transformations we have seen and we are so honored we got to be apart of it! There are so many things we could say about how stunning their wedding day was. But we’re not sure just words could do it justice!
