Boy Meets Girl

Emily and Scott attended the same college in Illinois and never crossed paths during the first four years. It was during their final semester that they met eyes from across the bar. Scott made his way over to introduce himself. After much chatting, they discovered they were both from the same hometown and had a number of mutual friends. Obviously, they fell in love and moved in together after dating for two years; knowing that each other was the one for them. Emily fell in love with how Scott put her family before himself. Seeing the way he loved and cared for her younger brother who has autism, confirmed to her that she had found the one. He loves the passion that Emily has for everything she takes on, and proposing was the easiest thing to do. They got engaged in 2019 on their annual trip to their favorite winery.

A Day To Remember

Emily & Scott booked with Soirée to design & coordination. We crafted a beautiful plan to match her vision for a simple, romantic, and elegant weekend. Dusty mauve & lavender colors were perfect way to compliment all of the natural greenery & soft organic themes in the stationery, decor, and floral.

Their beautiful wedding was hosted at Ashton Hill Farm in Galena, Illinois. Instead of a guest book, family and friends wrote messages for the bride and groom on a wooden garden bench for the couple to cherish forever. Music is very important to Emily, and the fun energy of the evening reflected it as everyone danced and celebrated to the couple’s favorite tunes. The weekend turned out to be the stress-free, fun, and relaxed event that they had always dreamed of!
