A Joyful University of Iowa Wedding for Elaine & Louis

How it All Started

Elaine and Louis’s love story began back in 2011, when they first met as freshmen living in the same dorm at the University of Iowa. After reconnecting years later at a college friends’ camping trip, their relationship came full circle leading them back to campus to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by family and friend.

Day Of Celebrations

The IMU’s Main Lounge was their location for the ceremony, and there were celebrations all across campus. Following their vows, guests showered them with confetti as they left the building, which was one of the cutest moments. A happy, photogenic way to start the celebrations.

Against one of the famous backdrops of the University, they captured stunning pictures throughout the Pentacrest. Vibrant pink, purple, and orange flowers brightened the entire reception area and gave their décor the perfect amount of richness.

With thoughtful details, fun for the kids, and a focus on keeping the day stress-free for their families, Elaine and Louis’s wedding was both meaningful and unique.
