Christina and Adam started their love in 2014, during the summer between Freshman and Sophomore years of high school. Their love grew as they were growing up themselves. They both graduated high school together and continued their education at The University of Iowa. From quiet nights binge-watching shows on Netflix to spending months road-tripping across the country, their love for adventures and each other has filled out their relationship.

On February 19th, Christina and Adam had been planning to go to dinner to celebrate Christina’s sister being accepted into pharmacy school. This gave them the perfect opportunity to get all dressed up. Adam suggested getting a bottle of champagne from Walker Homestead, where he had already put together a proposal setting. While Adam was away all day getting things ready, Christina became impatient and suspicious of him. Thankfully, he was able to keep the proposal a secret. They arrived at Walker Homestead and Kristy, the owner, wanted to show us a new addition they had upstairs. Christina loved the surprise and enjoyed a wonderful proposal and an evening with family and friends.

Stress-Free Planning

With the wedding date, venue, catering, videographer, and wedding dress secured, Christina and Nick needed a bit more help regarding the overall planning of their wedding. It was a beautiful Iowa fall day with an amazing sunset overlooking the rolling hills at Walker Homestead. We are so lucky to have met such a wonderful and sweet couple! We wish them many more years of love and adventures! 🤍
