They Just Knew

Caroline and Elliott met the same way as many couples today meet, the dating app Hinge. Little did they know, they had many mutual friends, including one who wanted to get them together before they met on the app. Caroline knew Elliott was the one during their second date when he broke out his karaoke machine. They bonded over their shared love of travel, Golden Doodles, the arts, and Iowa City. Elliott and Caroline had many experiences with various relationships. They just knew this was it! They dated for six weeks before Elliott proposed on 2/22/2022 with his grandmother’s ring.

A dream day

Between busy work schedules and commitments, buying a house, and the thought of the overwhelmingness of wedding planning, Caroline was looking for expertise, guidance, and making their visions of their wedding day a reality. Caroline and Elliott got married on a beautiful August day at Danforth Chapel, surrounded by a small group of close family friends. Their wedding celebration continued at Hancher Auditorium, where many friends and family celebrated with great food and a live band, which was a must-have for Caroline’s wedding day. We wish Caroline and Elliott many years of love and happiness! We were so happy to be a part of it!
