Blake & Lily’s Farm Wedding
Back in June of 2015, I coordinated at Blake & Lily’s beautiful wedding on her family’s farm north of Marion, Iowa. The weather couldn’t have been better, and never has there been a family so sweet to work with — and so hands-on with the decorating! There were aunts, cousins, uncles, dads, moms, brothers, sisters, and everyone else helping get the farm ready for the big celebration. Check out how it all came together below!
The ceremony and the wedding dance was held in one of the barns on the family farm property. The tables were adorned with lace, doilies, lanterns, and unique knick knacks. The tablecloths were set at random angles on purpose to give the space a rustic look.
Outside the ceremony & dance barn space were personal items like photos, a sleigh, dressers, flowers, and other things from the family farm.
No programs needed here, just an adorable chalkboard next to beautiful landscaping outside the ceremony barn.
A path lined with lanterns led guests to the ceremony. Farm equipment helped to camouflage the restrooms trailer.
Hay bales, lights, drapery, and custom mason jar and crystal wagon wheel chandeliers made this wedding ceremony country chic.
No detail was spared. Even the walls of the ceremony barn were decorated to the max.

What a beautiful space for Blake and Lili to celebrate their nuptials with close friends & family.
The tent was set up to host guests for dinner between the ceremony and the dance. The weather was perfect, so the double sided buffet was placed outside the tent.
The dinner tent was decorated with lanterns, florals, lace, dollies, candles, and more.

Lili & Blake’s wedding favor was a candle with a tag that said “Where there is love, there is light. Thank you for sharing our special day with us!”
