Angela and Ethan’s story began in 2019, and after years of growing together, they chose the Hyatt Regency Coralville to celebrate their wedding, which perfectly encapsulated their shared vision of elegance and romance.

From the moment they started planning, Angela had a clear picture of her dream wedding day. She shared her vision with Emily McMahon, the talented owner of Soirée Wedding Planning. Angela’s inspiration board was filled with beautiful pink and white florals, and she told Emily she wanted a lot of flowers, fun signature cocktails with an open bar, pretty table settings, and lots of food.

The couple’s desire for an elegant lavender theme was evident in every detail, planned by Emily, using the Experience Package. The ceremony and reception spaces were transformed with large floral arrangements, lush with pink, white, and purple flowers creating a breathtaking backdrop. Delicate lavender accents added a touch of softness and sophistication to the overall design. The overall feeling of the day was romantic, classy, and simple, yet incredibly elegant.
